Founded in 1991, J.P.’s has grown into a Delaware destination. People visit J.P.’s to indulge in our diverse menu while enjoying our scenic fishing village environment on the Delaware Bay. Bowers beach was the docking station for the steam boat, The Frederica, that traveled between here and Philadelphia. The town in its day was a fishing industry hub (oysters, fish, blue crabs, and charter boats). Fishing is a way of life in this small town. J.P.’s takes advantage of the gifts the Delaware Bay has to offer, we pride ourselves on catching our own rockfish & harvesting oysters. Everything is cooked to order with the freshest of ingredients.
